Matthew A. Schmidt, Esq., graduated from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, where he received his Juris Doctorate in May 2008. In his time at Widener, Matthew participated in the Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinic, Bankruptcy Section. As a Certified Legal Intern, Matthew represented clients in Bankruptcy matters, maintaining frequent contact with clients and creditors alike.
Prior to practicing with Amori & Associates, LLC, Matthew served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Linda Wallach Miller of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas, and later as an associate with the Stroudsburg law firm of Amori & Riegel, LLC.
Matthew received his Bachelors of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in Spanish.
Attorney Schmidt is currently a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. His practice includes civil and criminal litigation, bankruptcy, and employment matters. He is also a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, serving as Treasurer for 2011.
